LAHORE: Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and Head of the Organisation of Ahle Sunnat Madaris Prof Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman has said all scholars of the Ummah including the Sahaba were of the view that the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) is the last messenger of God and door of more prophets had been closed till the Doomsday.
So anyone claiming prophethood after Mohammad (SAW) and putting forward reasons, whatsoever, would be termed non-believer and “Murtid.” A ddressing thousands of participants of the “Khatm-e- Nabuwat” conference here under the auspices of Muhafizane Khatm-e-Nabuwat he said to oppose the “Qadiyaniat” was in fact “Jihad.” To expose the fraud being perpetuated by the Mirzais is the true love to Hazrat Mohammad (SAW), he said. He said Hazrat Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqui had fulfilled his mission and now it is our duty to fulfil our obligations. Addressing the meeting, Dr Raghib Naeemi said the number of martyred Sahaba during the wars while defending Islam was 259 while during the war of Yamama which was fought for defending the belief of Khatm-e-Nabuwat 1,200 Sahaba and Huffaz were martyred. This provides ample proof till the Doomsday to defend the belief. Piling up plenty of reasons to defend the philosophy of Khatme Naboowat, Moulana Ghulam Rasool Qasmi elaborated that Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddiq (RA) was the very first and greatest defender of Khatm-e-Nabuwat. Addressing the conference, noted research scholar and anchor person Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain said Qadianiat was not the name of any religion but it was the name of such a political movement that was aimed at ruling the Muslims of the Indian Subcontinent. He said in the past he had left the ministry for the sake of sanctity of Risalat and if needed, it would be pleasure for him to die for Khatm-e- Nabuwat. During the address of Dr Amir, the participants became sentimental and raised full throated slogans to defend the Khatm-e-Nabuwat. The participants gave a standing ovation when Dr Amir was invited to address the gathering.
